Giro Manoyan – Կիրո Մանոյան

With origins in Kharberd (Kharpert, Yegheki) and Diyarbakir (Dikranagerd, Tigranakert), born in Beirut, Lebanon, to Payladzoun Manougian-Manoyan and Assadour Manoyan.

I attended Souren Khanamirian Armenian (Azgayin) College until 1976, when I moved with my family to Montreal, Canada.

Graduated from Malcolm Campbell High School, attended Vanier College and Concordia University.

In the 1980s I was the Executive Director of the Armenian National Committee of Canada.

From 1989 to 1991, I was the assistant editor, and from 1991 to 1999 the editor of the Horizon Weekly Canadian-Armenian newspaper.

I moved to Armenia in 1999.

Since 2001, I am the Director of the International Secretariat (in Armenian also known as Central Hai Dat office) of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau in Yerevan.
